The Columbus Sport Hybrid 40 is an example of this holistic and integrated approach.
This multi-awarded yacht is a condensation of technology and style. From an architectural point of view, the Columbus Sport Hybrid 40M can certainly be considered a sports yacht even though characterized by absolutely unusual volumes and internal heights on yachts of this size.
The interior spaces have been modulated in such a way as to favor the owner’s suite, which is equivalent in size to those of yachts well over 40 m in size, while offering adequate and functional spaces for both the crew and guests, with solutions such as the VIP suite convertible into two cabins, which are characterized by their extreme flexibility of use.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE and COMFORT
The “Crossbow” concept is a unique version of a 100-metre superyacht, designed around the idea of a high-performance and efficient aluminium yacht that is fast, light and with a sporty aesthetic but, at the same time, elegant and fine. We developed this concept to give the impression of large continuous glass to obtain a curved windshield.
This in turn creates a huge double-height forward facing interior lounge dominated by the owner’s cabin on the upper deck. The interior layout of this ship was designed with flexibility in mind, including variations of a private owners’ deck or a larger owners’ suite on the upper deck.
The external areas of the bridge were designed taking speed into account, keeping the fixed furniture light and well protected from the wind, with the bow that transforms at anchor into a vast fun area and for sunbathing.
